A number of developments have occurred in pre-university mathematics in recent years. This means it can be difficult for university staff to have an up-to-date understanding of what material students will have actually studied in a given mathematics qualification, prior to entry to university. MEI is keen to work with the relevant Higher Education Academy Subject Centres, to support mathematics at the transition to university. In some instances this is already occurring.
