Under this initiative MEI currently engages in two strands of work: School-college/university interfaceMEI specialises in 14-19 mathematics education and is therefore in an excellent position to offer advice on mathematics at the school-college/ university interface. Overview of the pure and applied content of current AS/A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics Links with the Higher Education Academy Online materials to support undergraduate coursesMEI has extensive experience in producing effective online learning and teaching resources to support AS/A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and is keen to use this experience to develop resources to support undergraduate courses at university. Examples of current collaborations can be seen below. Engineering – University of the West of England Multi-Discipline – Warwick University There is considerable scope for MEI to work with universities to help support the learning and teaching of undergraduates, for both first year Mathematics courses and for mathematics service courses in mathematics-related degrees.
